It has an option of 3 type of lids: no handle rope handle and steel wire handle. It is leak-proof and can keep hot for at least 4hrs - 8hrs and cold for 24hrs. The inner wall is 304 food grade stainless steel and 100% BPA free. It is not dishwasher and microwave safe handwashing is recommended. Do not place dry ice carbonated drinks etc. The natural bamboo does produce variances in colour grain pattern and branding.
